I saw how close and connected you all were with the passing of one of your own, Sassy. I stand here alone with only my memories of happier days as there is no "justice" that could ever heal my broken heart. I have finally recovered enough to function and have my career back after hitting rock bottom from that. I had to make the choice to take one off life support. In 2020 I lost my wife and two young children to a drunk driver.
I am not looking for sympathy, but my story and where I am coming from is important. Why am I interested? Well, I need community, family, and friends. Just can't get over how damn cool that is! If you asked me 20 years ago, I wouldn't have guessed you'd still be here standing alone. It must be exciting, yet scary at the same time preserving the legacy of what once was and having it all on your shoulders now. I can imagine you have a great sense of pride in being the last ones from that era. What a special thing you all have going here.
I know there are other old school people here too which is really cool. I also vaguely remember who Terra is from IA back in the day. I've browsed your forums over the years out of curiosity. I was on the original and was loosely friends with Chobo(OD) so I am familiar with this clan.
